Complete Your Landscape with Steel, Stone, and More
Renovating your landscape means you’ll have to consider numerous details. Along side the natural elements of the renovation such as plant material or turf, there are details such as landscape edging, steel or stonework, and optional patios or pathways to add interest and usable areas on the property. Our team can help you choose the best materials, as well as perform a professional installation.
Get Professional Looking Turf with Sod Installation
Sod installation is another of our specialties. If you’re dissatisfied with the current condition of your turf, we can help select the correct variety for your location. Adding the correct turf for your property will not only help with the esthetics of your property, it can help with erosion control. Our top-notch sod installation also includes a nutrient rich soil base layer if necessary.
Prepare for Planting with Ground Covers
At Century Lawn and Landscape, we also provide ground cover installation, refresh or swap out. We can create the planting beds and install your selected ground cover of choice. If you currently have mulch that needs a fresh layer, we offer refresh services for one-time or recurring services. If you would like to change your mulch to river rock, we also provide this service and can help select the right river rock for the area. This practice allows you to hold soil in place before planting. What’s more, ground covers also minimize the number of weeds potentially sprouting in the area.
Add Plants and Trees to Your Landscape
At Century Lawn and Landscape, our estimator can help layout your new plant material or tree selections. If you are looking to add to your existing planting beds, create new planting beds or create privacy hedges along property lines, we can assist with these installation services. How to Prepare for Your Meeting With Our Landscape Designer/Estimator
Once you have an appointment setup with our designer, there are few things that you will need to prepare for. Being prepared will help the process move along more efficient and we can then get your project scheduled for the installation.
Here are four things to have ready for your meeting:
1. Set a Landscape Budget
It is very important to know how much you want to spend so we can fit the project within your budget. The types of materials, sizes, and quantity will greatly be affected by this and we want to make sure we get the most for your money. This will also help to know if we need to complete the project in phases.
The designer will ask you about the budget, so it will be good to have this ready so we can get started on an estimate.
2. Research Designs
If you can find a design that you like, then we can transform that idea to fit your needs and your property. It is important to think about where you want it, the size, and the shape. In addition, it’s good to have an idea of the colors and textures that you prefer.
3. Make a List
You will want to make sure and write everything down before the meeting, so nothing is missed. Write down all the features that you want and where you want it. List everything that you like and it’s important to list all the things you don’t like.
4. Schedule Enough Time
You will want our designer to have a good understanding of what you expect in the project and it will be hard if you are pressed for time. It can take many hours for the meeting, design, and the estimate so we want this to be as efficient as possible.
